Grow in Tech Central

The Tech Central Scaleup Accommodation Rebate Program will support technology businesses in the scaleup phase of growth establish within the 500m zone surrounding Henry Deane Plaza in Tech Central.

The Program will provide a 40 percent rebate on eligible rental costs and a 30 percent rebate on eligible fitout costs.

Operated by Stone & Chalk and located at 477 Pitt Street, the Tech Central Scaleup Hub will be a home for digital and emerging technology scaleups and essential innovation businesses. Open from 1 July 2022, the Scaleup Hub will provide private office suits and access to unique community, collaborative and event spaces. With 8,000sqm spread over six floors, the Scaleup Hub is a major step towards the NSW Government’s commitment to deliver 25,000sqm of affordable space for startups, scaleups and other innovation business in Tech Central.

An affordable coworking space for high growth companies in future focused industries in Quantum, High Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and adjacent technology verticals.

Minimum Viable Product (MVP) grants are designed for pre-revenue technology start-ups to help them engage with a potential business customer, or channel to market, to achieve market validation and first sale.

The $250 million Jobs Plus Program will strengthen the NSW economy by creating or supporting up to 25,000 jobs to 30 June 2022.

The COVID-19 TechVoucher program provides support funding for technology-rich startups, scaleups or small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to collaborate with Publicly Funded Research Organisations (PFROs) to accelerate the commercialisation of innovative R&D products and services that address challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Research and Development Fund supports small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and scaleups to commercialise products that address the health, social or economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
