The Tech Central Scaleup Accommodation Rebate Program will support technology businesses in the scaleup phase of growth establish within the 500m zone surrounding Henry Deane Plaza in Tech Central.

The Program will provide a 40 percent rebate on eligible rental costs and a 30 percent rebate on eligible fitout costs.

The Program is now open and will close on 17:00 AEST 16 June 2023. Please visit investment.nsw.gov.au/scaleuprebate for more information and to apply.

Operated by Stone & Chalk and located at 477 Pitt Street, the Tech Central Scaleup Hub will be a home for digital and emerging technology scaleups and essential innovation businesses. Open from 1 July 2022, the Scaleup Hub will provide private office suits and access to unique community, collaborative and event spaces. With 8,000sqm spread over six floors, the Scaleup Hub is a major step towards the NSW Government’s commitment to deliver 25,000sqm of affordable space for startups, scaleups and other innovation business in Tech Central.

The $250 million Jobs Plus Program will strengthen the NSW economy by creating or supporting up to 25,000 jobs to 30 June 2022.

Sydney Deep Tech Labs is the incubator for digital innovations that change the way we live and work. These curated community spaces will support and accelerate research and development and carve out a place for innovators to test their digital prototypes.

Critical to the activation of Tech Central will be enabling co-investment between the public and private sectors to support the realisation of the innovation opportunities in the area. The NSW Government is actively considering options to facilitate this form of co-investment.

With over 36,000 STEAM graduates within 2 kms of Tech Central, our dedicated Talent Toolkit connects job seekers to job makers, identifying talent and knowledge gaps to build and deliver bespoke development programs.
